Garage Door Hinges

Garage Door Hinges
Garage door hinges come in 11-gauge, 14-gauge and 18-gauge options. They are available in narrow body 2″ width and wide body 3 1/4″ width depending on the width of your overhead door interior stiles.

Hinges are stamped with a specific number 1-12 which indicates the position on the door. #1 hinges are installed at the top of the bottom section between panels one and two. #2 hinges are installed between sections two and three.

Always refer to your garage door installation manual for suitable hinge replacement options. Door weight, stile width and volume of use are three key factors in selecting hinges.
