Low Headroom

Low headroom occurs when a door doesn’t meet the minimum suggested headroom requirements for standard (hardware) operation.

In these situations special track and brackets can be used to reduce the required room. Low headroom track have dual channels with the top panel top roller being on the top track and the remaining panels moving along the bottom channel. Outside cable hookup is also common since the cable drums flip to the outside on low headroom applications.

Minimum Headroom Needed:
4 1/2″ (Torsion / Manual operation)
7 1/2″ (Torsion / Automatic opener)
